Engine Development
Hidden. Ready to get you in comfort of your car anywhere you like. Any time. Regardless of weather. Or accelerate your heart-beat on racetrack. Push you back into your seat and make you smile. In all situations reliable, safe with respect to the Environment.
For us it means e.g., design of crankcase, cylinder head, oil pan, head cover or various mechanisms. Also engine mounts, and systems as cooling, oil household or clean air ducts etc. Challenges as choosing the right material and production technology. Not forgetting assembly procedure and maintenance requirements. All that fulfilling strict legal requirements.
And this is just the beginning….
Transmission development
It looks simple. It´s just a “box” between wheels and drive unit. But…
What about lubrication, ventilation, NVH, sealing, thermal managment, maufacturing tolerancies, assembling and last but not least the core function?
That´s what we deal with.
Exhaust gas system
To many exhaust system is just a pipe at the rear of the car… But what if in front is an over 700hp engine? Using the right boxes, sensors. Designing brackets, flaps and tail tips. Fiting pipes that are over 70mm in diameter. Into next to no space. All that meeting EURO 7 emissions. And on top the right sound that makes everyone look back. That´s a challenge we like to face.
E-drive
Rumors say that E-Drive is way less complex than a combustion engine. But what if the E-Axle has more than 500kW? Think about electrical cables, system cooling, oil distribution, lubrication, structural stability… you name it. All that combined with the ECM challenge of very sensitive low voltage components next to brutal high performance power electronics. And in addition, dramatic low space expectations.
Looks impossible? … but we find ways how to make it work.
Documentation & Standards
Development without dokumentation is like sky without stars. Technical excellence requires the purest level of technical documentation. Risk analysis, tolerance chain or using of latest standards is the key.
This is how we underline the perfect work that we deliver.
